The Process

Home / The Process

work·flow

/ˈwərkˌflō/
Noun

The sequence of industrial, administrative, or other processes through which a piece of work passes from initiation to completion.

Step 1 – We meet and chat about your future website

The best way to identify your exact needs is to meet with you. During the meeting we will hear from you about your project, and we will give you advice about the best way to proceed.

At this point you don’t commit to anything, and you don’t have to make any payments. No pressure, and no strings attached.

Step 2 – Choosing a template for your WordPress site

Once we know more about your site we will do our research. We will propose you 5-10 design templates best suitable for your site.

At this point you don’t commit to anything, and you don’t have to make any payments. No pressure, and no strings attached.

Step 3 – Choosing the right domain name

Choosing the right domain name is very important. The most affordable option is to register a new domain name. Domain name registration fee is included in the price of our development package. Alternatively, if the desired domain name is taken, you can try to purchase the domain name from the current owner. We can approach the owner of the domain name for you, and we can negotiate on your behalf. We’ve negotiated with domain name owners hundreds of times.

At this point you don’t commit to anything, and you don’t have to make any payments. No pressure, and no strings attached. Even the negotiation with the domain name owner won’t cost you anything!

Step 4 – Initial Retainer fee for web design and development – $200

Why do we charge a $200 fee? As you can see we didn’t charge you anything up until this moment. We spoke with you about your future project, and we’ve provided you with advise and the templates to choose from. Now is the time for you to decide if you want to work with us.

Our website development fees include all the services, and before we start working on your project we will need to pay for the template you chose, for the domain name registration, images for your site, and hosting. The initial retainer fee is a one time fee of $200; think of it as a deposit. If your site costs $650 to build, the $200 will be deducted from the final bill upon completion.

Step 4 – Content for your site

During the meeting we will discuss and identify the pages of your site. Vast majority of websites have “About us”, “Contact us”, “Home”, “Services”, “Why choose us”, and “Products” pages. At this stage we will be expecting you to prepare and email us all the content/information for the site. The information should be provided in the digital form, and it should be written exactly the way you want it to appear on your website.

Nobody knows better than you what your site is about, and what services you are going to provide. So, it’s better to write all the information yourself. On the other hand, not all of us are writers, and if you have difficulties to come up with the content, we will be able to help you for additional fee.

Step 5 – Hosting

Hosting is where all the files of your site will be located. Our development fees include hosting for 1 year.

Step 6 – Website Design

At this stage you chose the template, provided us the content, we’ve registered a domain name, and paid for hosting. We can start working on your site. We usually complete all the websites with in 1-2 weeks once we have all the information.
